Henkel is a very international company. Our brands and technologies are well-known on every continent. About 80% of our staff work outside Germany. But our home is still Düsseldorf. Shortly after the company was established around 140 years ago, Henkel moved from Aachen to the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. A wise decision! Today, around 5,500 "Henkelaners" or Henkel employees work here. Düsseldorf is our head office, the focus of our research and development work and home to the company’s largest production facility worldwide.
